You want to get a lawyer's or a 's changes into a keysig agreement, and you found the button says coming soon.
What a redline is
A redline is a marked-up copy of an agreement showing the changes the other side wants. On keysig it is meant to close a loop: you download the agreement as a Word file, a lawyer or the other edits it in Word, the edited file comes back, and keysig compares its text with your stored version and shows each change so you can accept or reject it one at a time.
Where it stands
The comparison step is paused. The button is there but it leads to a notice, and it will say so until the feature is back. The rest of the loop works today: Download Word (.docx), under Actions, gives you an editable copy to send out for review. Downloading an unsigned agreement uses one credit; a signed agreement's Word file is free.
In the meantime
- Get the changes back as a document or a list, then make them yourself. Change the details through Edit details, or change the wording directly in the Edit view; Editing an agreement covers both.
- If the agreement is already out for signature, take the request back first, make the changes, and send again.
- If everyone ends up signing a printed copy instead, record it as signed on paper.
