Built by musicians, for musicians.
A one-page split sheet always beats a good memory.
It usually starts the same way: nothing was ever written down. Someone assumed a verbal “we’ll figure it out later” would hold up fine on its own.
keysig makes an agreement easy to actually send. The one you’d otherwise put off because bringing it up felt awkward or wasn’t worth the trouble, becomes the one you never have to worry about.
From blank page to sent for signature in under 3 minutes.
Draft an agreement, send it for signature, and duplicate it for every other collaborator on the track. No re-typing the same terms four times, no waiting on a lawyer’s turnaround.

Clean paperwork means you get paid faster.
The moment a song starts to earn, whether that’s a sync placement, playlist traction, or a distribution payout, a signed agreement is what lets the money move without a delay. No back-and-forth to sort out who agreed to what, no waiting on a label or platform to release a payment because ownership isn’t clear.

keysig is a small team, and we answer our own support inbox. If your deal is more complicated than our templates handle, we’ll say so, and point you to the music lawyers we respect instead of pretending a template covers everything.

Common questions
Is a keysig agreement actually legally binding?
Yes. Our templates are built on standard industry language and signed with legally valid e-signatures.
Do I need a lawyer to use this?
No, for the common stuff in our templates like split sheets, producer agreements, and simple sync licenses. If your deal is more complex, we'll tell you and refer you to great music lawyers to help.
What if the other person doesn't want to sign?
That's usually a bigger red flag than a scheduling issue. But keysig makes it easy to send, remind, and track status, so "I forgot" stops being an excuse.
Can I use this if I'm not based in the US?
Right now keysig's templates are built around US law, so they're the best fit for artists working under US agreements. We're not the right tool yet if you need something governed by another country's law. But let us know where you're based; it helps us prioritize where to expand next.
What happens to my signed agreements?
They're stored in your keysig account permanently, so you can pull them up whenever you need.
The best collaborations are the ones where nobody has to wonder.
Get the deal sorted early, so the only thing left to focus on is the music, and the people you’re making it with.
