Credits and Plans

Who this is for

You want to know what keysig charges for, what it does not, and how far your plan goes.

What a credit is

A credit is spent by exactly two things:

• Sending an agreement for signing. One credit per send.
• Downloading an unsigned agreement, as a PDF or a Word file. One credit per download, every time.

Everything else is free on every plan. Drafting is unlimited: create, edit, duplicate and store as many agreements as you like. Downloading a signed agreement never costs a credit, and keysig never blocks you from a signed agreement for any reason. Uploading a paper-signed copy costs nothing either.

If a signer declines, the credit for that send comes back to you, once per agreement. Taking a request back yourself does not return the credit.

The plans

• Free. One credit, total, for the life of the account. Enough to send one agreement and see the whole thing work.
• keysig Pro. 7.99 US dollars a month for 10 credits a month. The allowance refreshes every month; your Billing page shows the exact date. Unused credits do not carry over.
• keysig Pro Annual. 87.99 US dollars a year for a balance of 120 credits to use at any pace across the year. It refreshes when the year renews, and unused credits do not carry past that.
• Label / Enterprise. An account for all of a label's artists, with higher per-artist monthly limits set with keysig. There is no self-serve checkout: the Billing page has a Contact us button, and keysig sets the label up. Labels for artists explains what being on a roster means for your credits.

Prices are shown on the Billing page, and the price at checkout is the one that counts.

What "used" means

Your balance is the plan's allowance minus what you have spent in the current period: sends plus unsigned downloads, with any declined-send refunds added back. For Free the period is forever; for Pro it is the current month; for Pro Annual it is the current year.

When the balance hits zero, sending and unsigned downloads stop until it refreshes or you upgrade. Drafting keeps working. Signed downloads keep working.

Where to see your balance

• Billing shows the full picture: how many used of how many, the period, and when it resets.
• The dashboard's Plan and Usage card shows credits left and a shortcut to Billing.
• Page headers carry a small credits readout.
• The send screen says, before you send, that sending uses one credit and how many you have left.

Referrals

Under Account, Invite a friend gives you a personal link. When someone signs up through it and later makes their first paid purchase (Pro or Pro Annual), keysig adds 5 bonus credits to your account. They never expire: they raise your allowance in every period from then on, rather than topping up one month. The person you invited gets nothing extra. There is no limit on how many people you can invite. Inviting yourself, or fake accounts, forfeits the reward; the Terms of Service have the details.

Bonus credits sit on your personal account, so while you send under a label they wait, unused, until you send as yourself again.

If you are on a label's roster

While your label's plan is active you send under the label, against a monthly per-artist limit the label agreed with keysig, and your own plan's balance is untouched. Your Billing page and the credits readout show the label's number. If the label's plan lapses or you leave, you are back on your own plan straight away. One thing to know: a send you make as personal work still counts against the label's limit while you are on the roster; the label sees the credit spent, not the agreement.

Support credits

If keysig support adds or removes credits on your account, you get an in-app notification and an email saying how many and why.
